PAO is a synthetic air conditioning lubricant that has been formulated for use with both R-134a and R-1234yf. By using premium poly-alpha-olefin base oils, PAO significantly reduces the dangers of water contamination due to its natural low affinity for water. PAO also offers excellent low temperature fluidity, ensuring excellent oil return. The use of poly-alpha-olefin base oils also ensures superior lubricity and thus better compressor protection.
